Daily Devotion

Praying & confessing God’s will: St Matthew 24:42-44 ”Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Prayer: “Father God, we love & praise You, that Jesus is coming back for His Church & since we don’t know the day or the hour, we are to stay alert, that is give strict attention, to be cautious & active in our faith, help us understand that If the head of the house had known what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert & would not have allowed his house to be broken into, so the comparison is made, those who say they follow Jesus must be ready, because Jesus is coming at an hour when we won’t be expecting Him, Lord help us get our house in order, in Jesus name, Amen.”
