Daily Devotion

Day 7 of 14 on the Resurrection of Christ: Ro 6:4-6 “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”

Prayer: “Father God, when we were lowered into the water, it is like the burial of Jesus; when we are raised up out of the water, it is like the resurrection of Jesus, just as Christ was raised from the dead through Your glory & power, we too might walk in the newness of life, united in the likeness of His death, sharing fully in the likeness of His resurrection, that our old self was nailed to the cross with Him, in order that the power of sin might be done away with, we are no longer slaves to sin, hallelujah, Amen.”
