Praying & confessing God’s will: Eccl 12:12-14 “And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.“

Prayer: “Father God, we stand on the verge of a new year, You warn us that the writing of many books is endless & we are not to believe everything we read, we can wear ourselves out in too much study, all though, we are to study to show ourselves approved to You & believe everything in Your Word, to fear & reverence & worship the almighty God, to practice all Your Word says, help us prepare for eternity, that You will bring our every act, hidden or secret thing, good or evil to judgment, Amen.
